We all have days when we are low on energy and have very little inspiration.  We can try to just use our force of willlpower during these times.  But we can use a less painful way by using some special techniques.

  • How about Using The Competitive Spirit. If you can find someone to compete against this can give you that motivation and energy that you expected.  I find this to be true in my life and you might find you are the same. This can be a very informal with friends and coharts.  Look for a way to turn what you are doing into a competition.
  •  Tell Yourself You Are Going To Do It And Set A Timer.  You have this great business idea and you need to build a new website and do your seo. Everyday you just keep putting it off.  It is a huge commitment, but if you just dedicate a few minutes and lay out a map of the website business.  You will likely find that when you accomplish this, you will just get going and start building the web pages.  The resistance dies down once you get started.  Once you have made that committment, don’t over do it in one session.  If you have other things to do you may want to set a timer. If you only have one hour to squeeze in, then establish what might take and hour and 10 minutes and try to beat it.  You will know after 30 minutes or so if you can get it done.  This establishes motivation and a strong mind set.
  • Listening To Music Can Be Good.  You have probably done this. You know that listening to music when trying to power through an exercise routine energetic that energetic music helps your spirit.  Using music when you work can help you power through the job.  You might prefer music that calms you and helps you keep focused.
  • Being Accountable To Other People Is A Powerful Motivator. Setting up a group of friends and colleagues and meeting regularly to discuss progress and goals can help you go further by using accountability.  Just the idea of accountability to others for what you are doing is a strong motivator.
  • Small Rewards Are Good To Increase Marketing Motivation.  There is always a reward of satisfaction in completing your work, but completion of the larger job is always a great distance away.  If you reward yourself on completing difficult tasks in the process it is very desireable and gives you satisfaction and greater satisfaction in the end when you have accomplished a large job.  Then a large reward would be in order.
